better dahlia than never

i was this many days old when i discovered there is a whole dahlia garden at volunteer park. a lovely surprise.

i am always at that park just minutes after 4:00 p.m., which is exactly when the conservatory closes.

every. time.

so, once again, no indoor plant action for me. but the dahlias were outside, wide open, and putting on quite a show.
